Privacy & cookies policies
Raio Verde is committed to safeguarding your right to privacy and to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal data. These policies apply to all processing of personal data carried out in the course of our business, whether relating to customers, employees, service providers, job applicants, suppliers or any third party in a work or commercial context. To this end, we have adopted administrative measures and internal procedures to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Raio Verde is committed to the confidentiality and protection of the data of all individuals with whom it interacts, in accordance with the law and in compliance with the GDPR. The processing of personal data is governed by Law 67/98 of 25 October on the Protection of Personal Data.
Where and how is personal data collected?
Raio Verde collects personal data primarily via its website and in the course of its professional activities. In order to carry out data processing, it may collect, record, organise, store, amend, retrieve, access, use or otherwise make available, erase or destroy the personal data of its customers and employees, whether by automated means or otherwise.
Why is data collected?
Raio Verde collects and processes personal data for two purposes: in the context of its commercial or employment activities and for marketing purposes, with the explicit consent of the data subjects; it may not process the data in future in a manner incompatible with these purposes.
All information collected by Raio Verde is for its exclusive use, and it undertakes not to sell, exchange, rent or share it with third parties without the user's explicit consent, except in the event of a court order.
Our aim in collecting data is to comply with legal obligations towards the relevant authorities (in the case of customers and employees) and to publicise our services, projects and other useful information such as news and tips via email (in the case of marketing activities).
Only data that is necessary and appropriate for fulfilling the purposes described will be collected, and it will be kept up to date. Personal data may be retained for a pre-defined period, taking into account the purposes of the processing, and will be deleted or pseudonymised after the retention period has expired.
What are data subjects' rights?
Data subjects may and should exercise their rights regarding the way in which their personal data is processed. In the event of any queries, objections or other matters, they may contact Raio Verde using the contact details provided for this purpose. The new regulation grants data subjects a number of rights, including:
- Right of access – Data subjects have the right to know all the data collected about them and the purpose for which it is used.
- Right to rectification – Data subjects may request that their information be updated or corrected.
- Right to be forgotten – Data subjects may request that their information be forgotten. In other words, that any information held about them up to that point be deleted. Please send an email to geral@intellectus.pt, providing a piece of information that identifies you (e.g. your email address).
- Right to data portability – Data subjects may request that their information be transferred to another organisation or to a competitor.
- Right to object – Data subjects may request that their information not be subject to certain processing or uses. This may be done via an opt-out procedure.
- Right to lodge a complaint – Should the data provided by the data subject not be processed in accordance with legal provisions, the data subject may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which, in Portugal, is the National Data Protection Commission.
